IoT fitness solution provider OneSoftDigm (OSD) took second place at the 2020 StartupCon Battlefield event in Seoul on Thursday.

The second place finish came with a USD 20,000 cash prize.

A participant in Seoul VC Connect’s Batch 2, OSD makes Fitrus, a pocket-sized IoT solution that allows users to monitor seven biometric data types on their mobile app, enabling them save money and pursue a healthy lifestyle.

StartupCon is one of South Korea’s biggest startup conferences and is hosted by the Korea Creative Content Agency and Ministry of Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

In the Battlefield event, competing startups gave five-minute pitches, followed by seven-minute Q&A sessions. The performances were judged by a seven-person panel of experts.
